St. Mary's Staindrop

St. Mary's Church formerly dedicated to St. Gregory, a church over 1200 years old and sometimes referred to as "The Cathedral of the Dales".
It was built in classic Saxon cube form, and later parts of the church were demolished and replaced by Norman arches. It has got beautiful stained glass arts in all of the windows.
I haven't seen any visitors over there, seems like it is little forgotten church. But if you will you be in this area sometimes don't hesitate to stop there for a visit.
