Beamish - the Living Museum of the North

Beamish is a world famous open air museum. This place tells the story of life in North East England in Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian times. It stands in 300 acres of County Durham countryside. Most of the houses, shops and other buildings in here have been brought to Beamish, rebuilt and furnished as they once were. It is impossible to find objects displayed in glass cases, all are in their original context. Vintage trams and buses take people from one station to another, making traveling around the museum easier and more excited. Beamish costumed staff wears like people that times, they are always helpful and moreover - they proud and happy to share their knowledge with visitors.
Beamish brings incredible impression. It's like traveling back in time.

I'm a person who likes to see everything very carefully, so for me it's not a one day visit. Unfortunately I didn't find time to go back there and see places I haven't seen yet. But I hope I'll do it in a nearest future.
I honesty recommend this beautiful place to everyone!
