York, North Yorkshire
The city offers a wealth of historic attractions and a variety of cultural and sporting activities.
York Castle a complex of buildings ranging from the medieval Clifford's Tower to the 20th century entrance to the York Castle Museum (formerly a prison) has had a chequered history. York's center is enclosed by the city's medieval walls, which are a popular walk. We've never had a walk along the wall, there was just no time for this. We've been there just for one day, and now i can tell, it's not enough to see everything. York is quite big city with plenty interesting places.
There's few snaps from our short visit. Enjoy.

Lunch time
Lunch in the pub called "Castle" - Bishop Auckland.
Very sweet toffee cake with ice cream in York coffee shop.
In the pub in York. Our order was: sausages, beans and chips and this is what we got:
- "Excuse me sir, what happened to our meal?"
- "The meal you've ordered is currently unavailable"...
LOL
